Located in Munnar, Kerala , the plot covers an area of 500 sqm. The site is located near a tea estate and a resort.
The residence includes a master bedroom, 2 guest bedroom, children's bedroom, open kitchen, living cum dining area and a terraced garden. The residence also features a dog kennel and an outdoor seating space. There are 2 car parks infront of the house.

The type of roof construction used would be sloped. The residence has long panel glass widows and doors to enjoy the views to the tea estate as well as to enjoy the warm summer rays during the winter as well as the rain during the monsoon.

The maximum building coverage is 50%. The maximum permissible FSI is 1. The maximum building height is 9m for residential constructions. The average annual rainfall in Munnar is about 1920mm.

The design an open plan for a clean view to the outdoors. The open kitchen extended to the living cum dining for a seamless transition of spaces. The design focuses on open informal spaces. The living cum dining has a double height enclosure with clerestory windows for an open feel. The windows are also floor to ceiling height to emphasize on the largeness of the space.
Concept Development
A simple unit interlocks with another to form a complex spaces.
This integration can create intermediate spaces for various purposes.
Voids can also create interesting spaces for a play with light & shadow.
